STORE Aventuras Mayas promotes the growth and development of the communities we visit. Hence, in the middle of the jungle we stop to visit a small community arts-and-crafts store owned and operated by local people. The community itself chooses
the products that are sold, fixes the prices, and gets the profit from
the sales. While obtaining an extra income, they share with you the
legends and stories that surround these crafts and proudly show you
their cultural heritage.
