ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
PROGRAM FOR LOCAL CHILDREN Our Environmental Education Program provides the local youth with valuable knowledge about the uniqueness and fragility of local ecosystems such as coral reefs and underground river systems. Since 2005 we have worked with more than 1,500 local children in raising awareness on conservation issues, giving them the opportunity to take our excursions while learning about local flora and fauna. Aventuras Mayas works in partnership with local government and civil organizations on several projects.
