"Growing Water for the Future" In 2005, Aventuras Mayas gave an environmental awareness course in the town of Puerto Aventuras in which local children were taught about the importance of the appropriate use of water, correct waste management, and how sustainable tourism promotes the protection of the region's fragile ecosystems. Total participants: 23 children.
